Wood Street & walczy+hamilton Launch Metropolitan Choppers Web Site

Frederick, MD - July 10, 2006 Wood Street is pleased to announce the launch of the brand new Metropolitan Choppers web site www.metropolitanchoppers.com. The site was launched in conjunction with the announcement of the upcoming unveiling in Atlantic City of a set of custom motorcycles built for nationally syndicated radio personality, G. Gordon Liddy. Mr. Liddy's bikes will depict the famous WWII air war that became known as "The Battle of Britain."

Wood Street worked in association with Jim Walczy, Creative Director, walczy+hamilton advertising, the Chopper company's marketing agency, to develop the overall look and functionality of the new web site.

Wood Street and Swift Systems Develop Web Site Program for Delaplaine

Frederick, MD - February 1, 2006 - Wood Street and Swift Systems are pleased to announce the launch of the brand Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center web site - www.delaplaine.org.
The pair collaborated on this project in an in-kind effort to give back to the community. Wood Street handled all front-end design while Swift Systems tackled all back-end programming and e-commerce.

"We always enjoy working with Swift and this was a double bonus since we were able to work on such an important web site for the community" remarked Wood Street Vice President, Jamie Stup.

Swift Systems is donating an ecommerce enabled web hosting package based on the MiDAS Commerce Engine. Swift Software also got involved and jointly donated (with Swift Systems) web application development services necessary to complete several customizations that were needed to make the ecommerce system work seamlessly with the new site design and to meet other special needs of the Delaplaine.

This new system will now allow visitors to easily peruse and sign up for the excellent list of classes and other educational experiences available at the Delaplaine. Being Internet based will enable event sign up and online orders to be completed from anywhere, at anytime.

The new offices are located in the Maryland Building at the Jefferson Center. The Center is located at 201 Broadway Street in the Downtown Section of Historic Frederick, MD.

Wood Street is Selected to Develop 3 Web Sites for Merritt Academy

Fairfax, VA. - November 15, 2005 - Wood Street has been selected by Merritt Academy to develop new web sites for the schools operated by Sunrise Senior Living Education Foundation (SSLEF) - Merritt Academy, the Appletree School and the First Steps Child Care Center.

Merritt has hired Wood Street to create a new look and feel for each site - taking these sites to the next level. Wood Street is also tasked by Merritt to improve the search engine visibility for each site.

These schools are privately funded schools that teach infants through 8th grade and are all located in the Fairfax, VA area.
